Growables Inc
Cultivating Food Security Through Youth Empowerment & Sustainable Agriculture
Founded by youth entrepreneur Amare' Willis, Growables Inc is on a mission to eliminate food deserts in North Carolina through community gardens and accessible home growing solutions.
Our Founder: Amare' Willis
The vision behind Growables Inc. is deeply rooted in the personal story of its founder, Amare' Willis. Growing up, Amare' was profoundly influenced by his father's experiences with childhood poverty and food insecurity. These early conversations ignited within him a powerful passion for horticulture and entrepreneurship, driven by a desire to prevent similar struggles for future generations.
Inspired by his father's resilience and his own dedication to cultivating sustainable growth, Amare' recognized an opportunity to create lasting change. This profound inspiration ultimately led to the establishment of Growables Inc., a company founded on the principle of empowering communities and eliminating food deserts through innovative agricultural solutions.
The Food Desert Crisis in North Carolina
At Growables Inc., we are committed to tackling the urgent issue of food deserts. This is the challenge we're solving:

31%
Higher Obesity Risk
Youth in food deserts face significantly higher rates of diet-related health issues
